Here at Paradigm Governance Partners, we are delighted to announce that we have further bolstered our growing team with the hire of an experienced governance and fiduciary professional.

Bibiana Butasova joins Paradigm after several years working for Intertrust Corporate Services (Cayman) where she headed up the Board Support department. She provided corporate secretarial and board support services to an extensive portfolio of clients which included some of the world’s largest Fortune 500 groups.

Prior to Intertrust, Bibiana was a Manager at the Fund Secretarial department at Citco Trustees (Cayman). Before Citco, she worked in the Fund Secretarial department at Pinsent Masons law firm in Dublin, and prior to that as a Board Support Secretary with Dechert, a law firm based in Dublin.

Geoff Ruddick, our Partner, said: “It has been a challenging period for the funds industry on many fronts as the sector has grappled with both managing COVID and increased regulatory requirements. But through this period, we have been delighted to see that our unique service model and solid approach to corporate governance continues to be well received. On the back of this growing demand for our services, we are delighted to welcome someone of Bibiana’s expertise and experience to join the firm, complementing the skills of the existing governance team.”

Bibiana said:

“I am excited to be joining such a dynamic and fast-growing firm as Paradigm. I am looking forward to bringing my skillset to support its already very robust fiduciary team. This is an industry changing at a rapid pace and we find that clients need the professional support and services we offer more than ever. I look forward to positively contributing to this dynamic and forward-thinking governance firm.”

Bibiana, who holds Slovak citizenship and is a resident of the Cayman Islands, has a master’s degree in international business law from Trinity College in Dublin, master’s degree in law from Trnava University in Slovakia and a post graduate diploma in management and corporate governance from the University of Ulster. She is also an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) (formerly the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators).
